Abstract

This article presents several outcomes of the Program for
International Student Assessment (PISA), coordinated
by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
(OECD). In the 2015 PISA Study, the focus
is on school performance in the areas of Science, Language
and Mathematics of Argentine students, gender perspectives,
resilience and repetition. An exploratory-descriptive
study is proposed in the local context, with the purpose
of making processes and tensions visible in a practice that
requires multiple public discussions and reflective looks.
