Urban resilience and local development: municipal management planning
Abstract
The usefulness of resilience as a conceptual tool and in its
articulation to local development and municipal management,
is focused as both a conceptual and an effective tool
for municipal management planning. Together with additional
available instruments and technologies, it provides
another approach to the process of analysis, design and
structuring of local government administration, both interms of policies to be implemented and the institutional
framework that sustains it. In this perspective, the article
attempts at the constitution of a management tool enabling
a more accurate smoother translation of social and
rank-and-file government policies
