Abstract
The author is particularly qualified to deal with the subject. Lawyer with early e intense exercise of his profession in labor and human rights matters, sociologist and doctor in social sciences, involved in the struggles for democracy and social emancipation, has personal experience and critical reflection with a broad vision of the issues his book discusses. It raises from a multidisciplinary approach, that at present the rights enshrined by national and international norms are systematically violated by the large economic corporations and state institutions that must ensure their control. In this framework, he presents a diachronic analysis of the contradiction between the violation of rights and state control that spans the entire 20th century to the 21st century. It states that debt bondage (analogous to slavery) towards the beginning of the 20th century was surpassed by averaging the same, by the consecration of social rights.
