The agenda of financial inclusion in the Cambiemos government public policies (2015-2019)
Abstract
The paper focuses on the shift towards financial inclusion of public policies during the Cambiemos government in Argentina. It develops an analysis of the institutionalization of the financial inclusion agenda as a strategic government goal giving an account of the policies and institutional transformations carried out to achieve it. The attention is given to the National Government’s transversal strategies and planning and the role both played in the
alignment of welfare policies with the financial inclusion agenda.
