Elements for a comprehensive conceptual framework for housing policy
Abstract
Beginning with a discussion of the concept of housing policy, this article proposes a comprehensive conceptual framework that relates the wide range of state actions regarding housing with the outcomes observed in the housing market along with the housing conditions of the population. This conceptual framework is then illustrated with a review of the principal elements of Argentine housing policy throughout history, in order to lay out a renewed agenda for research on housing policy in the social sciences.
