Abstract

In a context of growing questioning regarding the role of the State and public organizations that produce goods and services that are of public interest, the Argentine Association of Studies in Public Administration organized the III National Congress of Public Administration Studies (hereinafter “the Congress"). The publication - only available in digital format - is the product of the compilation of papers presented at the Congress, carried out by Aneley Bibiana Berardo with the general coordination of José Alberto Bonifacio, both professionals with vast expertise in the field of public administration, management public and the impact of new technologies on the innovation processes of state management at the national, provincial and municipal levels. As a corollary of the tenth meeting of convergence and exchange of experiences and research on Public Administration, the papers presented at the Congress were grouped into eight carefully articulated sections to cover the broad spectrum of the deployment of a public administration that, to adequately respond to the heterogeneous citizen demands, must be permanently updated, both technologically and in other critical nodes, among others the professionalization of public employment, planning, budget administration, aspects concerning the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies and citizen participation.
