Theory of justice. Norberto Bobbio.
Abstract
The work reproduces the course given by Norberto Bobbio during the academic year 1952-3 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Turin as a regular professor of philosophy of law. Although it is a short text, it addresses the central themes of the history of political philosophy and the philosophy of law from Aristotle to the date of the course. It explains in a brilliant, clear and concise manner heterogeneous and complex philosophical concepts with a colloquial tone, mainly through paraphrases. It also addresses ontological, epistemological and metaethical themes, such as ethical non-cognitivism, free will, determinism or the laws of nature.
