  • Nayla Llantada CONICET

Abstract

In this article theoretical and conceptual contribu tions are taken up around the developmental model of mid-20th century, in order to acknowledge those main characteristics that allow us to draw a parallel with the Neodevelopmentalism model implemented in Argentina and Brazil during the initial years of the new century, supporting the hypothesis that argues for a resurgence of the developmental model in the aforementioned countries. Likewise, it is proposed to identify how the Neodevelopmentalism model impacted the cultural in dustrial level of both countries, considering the boost that the culture sector gained as a consequence of the diver sification of national markets and the promotion of key industries.
