Foreign policy and defense policy in Argentina: two sides of the same coin

Abstract
In this article we assess the reciprocal interconnection between foreign and defebse policies. Therefore, the guidelines of the first policy should be reflected in the second one. In addition, if we argue that defense policy can be analytically divided into three dimensions, such as, military policy, international defense policy and defense policy strictly defensive or in strategic terms; this link should also be reflected in the latter dimension.
As a result, we analyze foreign policy guidelines and whether they are observable in the strategic dimension, more precisely, in the capability based planning methodology adopted by the Ministry of Defense.
