Access to the educational system of the urban population of Argentina, 2001-2010

Abstract

The exercise presented in this paper is inserted in the recent debate on the impact of certain public policies on the access of the population to the education system. It seeks an approximation to the way in which the different social groups and strata access the educational system in Argentina, so as to be able to advance in the knowledge about the extent to which the class character of access to certain levels has been eroded Educational and, in addition, to private education. As source we will use information corresponding to census and official statistics on the urban population corresponding to years 2001 and 2010.
