Policies of conciliation between family and work in Argentina. Regarding the social representations of the masculinity (s)
Abstract
This article reflects on the historical lack of problematization of the place of masculine identities in the design and practice of public policies, fundamentally in regard to policies to reconcile family responsibilities with work in Argentina. The importance of incorporating the social representations of masculinities in the design of the public policies to contribute to the development of the autonomy and the capacities of the whole of the sexual identities, without distinction, is emphasized. A relevant issue is the use of time as a factor of inequality and injustice between genders. Finally, possible lines of action are proposed that promote higher levels of justice.
