Systematic review of the learning strategies that are investigated from Educational Psychology and / or Psychology in Spanish-speaking college students
Abstract
In universities’ self-assessment reports it is clear that it is necessary to consider whether the training of students is strategic. The objective of this project is to systematize the learning strategies used by Spanish-speaking university students. For this review, the PRISMA methodology is used (Urrútia and Bonfill, 2010). Based on the 36 studies, it is suggested that the use of strategies to achieve effective learning is complex since it cannot be attributed to a single variable. The configuration of the university classroom, although it considers students as learners, cannot exclude in this process the teachers, the curricular proposal, and the very purpose of the university career, as well as its location and purpose within the educational system.
