A methodological theoretical construction for the study of public policy: The case of open access in Argentina
Abstract
This article presents a theoretical and methodological alternative for public policy studies from a socio-anthropological approach –based on the theoretical contributions of Pierre Bourdieu and Stephen Ball. It was developed for the specific case of the study of an open access policy in Argentina instituted through law 26899 in 2013. It intends to share a series of methodological decisions rooted in the defined theoretical categories that function as analytical tools for the construction of the object of study with regard to the specific case under study, highlighting the interpretive turn for the study of public policy.
