Technology-mediated interventions in HIV prevention: A systematic review.

Abstract

A systematic review was carried out with the objective of analyzing the effects of technology-mediated interventions in HIV prevention, based on the PRISMA-NMA method, three databases Ebsco, Web of Science and Scopus were consulted. A total of 20 articles published between 2018 and 2020 were obtained that showed empirical evidence of the positive effects derived from the intervention to promote safe sexual behaviors in different contexts, with the use of internet platforms, Web pages and mobile applications being the most widely used. means. The main findings of the interventions and their scope in HIV prevention are discussed.
