Abstract

The work entitled “From the United Provinces to the Argentine Nation. An approach”, by the author Alejandro Herrero, consists of six chapters and a documentary appendix that has six documents. In the first instance, the writing itself unfolds in a reinterpretation of the origins of nationalities. He maintains that in the Argentine Republic, nationality does not come from the national State directly, but rather they have different historical moments.
