Abstract

To Educate is to Transform. On the Experience +ADOLESCENCIAS EN SALUD emerges as a substantial and thoughtful contribution to the field of continuing education for health professionals, with a particular focus on those who work with adolescents. The book, recently published by Universidad ISALUD in April 2025, is presented as the first title in the Experiences Series within its Higher Education Collection. The editors of this publication are María Laura Manzi, Silvia Reboredo de Zambonini, and María José Sabelli. The book offers a comprehensive account of the conception, creation, design, and implementation of an innovative training program, the result of cooperation between Universidad ISALUD and UNICEF Argentina.

Author Biography

María Alejandra Barale, UM (Universidad de Morón)

Professor and graduate in Educational Sciences. Specialist in Continuing Education for Youth and Adults. Holder of a Diploma in Social Sciences with a focus on Educational Institution Management. Doctoral candidate in Higher Education. Since 1997, she has been teaching at the University of Morón in the field of teacher education and has developed her academic career across various universities. She has provided pedagogical consulting services in several institutions and currently serves as Pedagogical Coordinator at the University Institute of the Argentine Federal Police. She has contributed to various publications related to teacher education.
