All articles accepted in the pre-evaluation stage are subjected to a review process in which at least two peer reviewers per article are asked to take part.
Reviewing is an honorary task, the function of which is to provide a critical reading of the article that is external to the journal and the researchers but nevertheless founded in the reviewers’ knowledge of the subject area. The process thus allows chosen texts to become richer, clearer and more thorough. This is the reason that reviewer opinions are so fundamental to the quality of a publication.
Recognizing publically those who agreed to review the submitted works - many of whom in fact reviewed as many as two or three texts per year - is a way of acknowledging their time, their compliance with the review schedule and their valuable opinions regarding the texts, which were also appreciated by numerous authors.
